Welcome to Poultry Days!
The Versailles Poultry Days’ Board of Directors and the Village of Versailles welcome you to the 74th annual Poultry Days festival June 13-15th. Always the 2nd full weekend in June!
Poultry Days is an annual community festival which began in 1952 to celebrate the area’s history as a leading poultry-producer. Arrive early to enjoy one of our World-Famous chicken dinners. Since 1952 this village of less than 3,000 people has sold 1,213,685 of these delicious dinners.
The 2025 festival theme is “PoultryMania”. The festival is always packed with activities for people of all ages. Live Entertainment All Weekend! The Grand Parade will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday and the village will host the 43rd annual Poultry Days Ultimate Disc Tournament, which is one of the top bucket list tournaments in the world. The Chicken Classic Cruise In is held on Sunday.
Other activities will include: Miss Chick and Little Miss Poultry Days Contests, FREE Kiddie Tractor Pull, rides and games for all ages, Vendor Area, Cake and Egg Contests, Flower Show, Art & Photo Show and FREE Chicken Eating Contest along with many other family friendly events. POULTRY DAYS SAYS THANK YOU!
After a successful 2024 festival, I would like to thank the Versailles Poultry Days Board and Chairmen for their tireless effort to make the 2024 festival a huge success. Specifically, fellow Chairman Matt, Justin, Jordan, Kyle and Tony for their long hours, hard work and commitment to this year’s festival.
Thank you, Eric, Matt, Paige, Brad, Nick, and Marisa, for leading our publicity, bulk sales, ticket sales, chicken lines, social tent, and finance teams! In addition, I would like to thank Brian, Kevin, Jeff, Alex, Luke, Brent, and Dereck whom I had the pleasure of serving with over the past 9 years. I had learned so much from all of you.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of something very special in the community. For 73 years the community has come together to volunteer, participate, and support the festival. To the 600 plus volunteers, organizations and sponsors supporting the festival, THANK YOU! We couldn’t do this successfully without you! The money raised from Poultry Days is used to operate and make improvements to Heritage Park, as well as support projects and organizations that help improve the community.
I would encourage anyone interested in learning more about Poultry Days or wanting to join the board to reach out to current Poultry Days board members. I can assure you will make new friendships, and your commitment will be fun and rewarding!
